Nas One Mic Remix (Better than original?)

yo that's a dang tight remix man. very nice. can't say it's better than the original, but it's a real legit remix of it.

its koo man sounds good but the only gripe i have is the lyrics dont mix well with the beat..lyrics too fast for the beat but its cool man..sounds very legit and pro
 
That's a nice beat! You just need to sync the lyrics better. Nas is a tricky lyric to sync. You really have to play with the beat... Use Recycle to find the tempo of the original beat... It might be a crazy tempo like 100.549 bpm or something...

Like the beat... ;)
 
thanx for teh feed, yeah i think the drum pattern is too fast, if i cut down itll prolly fit, but i always do have problems getting it to beatmatch with the pella.
 
Also, depending how the track was recorded may have impact on getting the right tempo. If it's an old song that was recorded on a reel to reel recorder, the tempo won't be EXACT as it would be in digital recordings... Analog multitracks move and have gears and friction which will make the speed vary at times. Same with Belt drive vinal record players... You may have to move the vocals around just a little to keep them on tempo...
 
thanx for the info guys, helpful, someone reocmmended me to use beatmeiser bpm analyzer and it work very good, but the thing is it cant tell acapellas, so you need the original song and osmetimes they have differnet tempos like just pointed out. I wa tshining mayeb to chop each aprt eseparately and tiemstrecth each part
 
Post a finshed version when you are done revising it :D
