SNST schematic

Hi David,

Did you ever find the schematic for the Nagra SNST and/or DSP amplifier. I have a SNST and just dug it out to play with it, did a bit Googling around and found out why I need the DSP playback unit.

If I can get the schematic for the recorder at least, I intend to build my own playback decoder using analog compander chips (if such things still exist - I used to build multi-band tape NR units when i was at school in the early 80's). Next I would like to figure out what makes the SNST-R special (more audio bandwidth probably) and see what it would take to upgrade the SNST to handle high-quality audio.

I know a Tascam digital recorder is going to be better quality, but I like the challenge..
