Okay guys, has anyone bought the Nady SCM900 (not the 1000), and if so how is it compared to say an SM-57?
I'm looking at them as replacements for some Dynamic Mic's I'm using, so I'm just wondering how they sound.
We just got a Budget for our next recording approved by the Label, and I'm now looking for a decent Vocal Mic (no-NOT the Nady mic's, I'm looking at those for Tom mics, and possibly guitar Amp mics).
I have $700 to put on a few mics-but I also want 4 channels of Compresor, so I'm going to give in and buy a Behringer...as much as I hate Behringer....
MAYBE a Rode NT-2, but I'm thinking about an ACK C-3000; I used it and liked the sound.
What about the C2000? anybody tried them?
Remember-I do not have a Vocal mic, because we were doing Vocals elsewhere....so I never bother buying one, I just laid scratch vocals with a handheld (hell-it worked fine as far as I'm concerned)
