Mysterious ART Digital Mic Pre

I'm considering getting the new, elusive ART digital mic pre, i wondered what, if anything people have heard about it. The only place i can find it is sweetwater, and the guy at MARS looked at me like i had lost my marbles. I have the old Tube MP, the one w/o the better meter, just the clip light, i wanted to know if anyone has used the newer ART pres and how they sound versus the older one. I also like the idea of a digital out b/c the i/o i'm using is the Tascam US 428, and it's mic pres are not great, but inputs 3+4 can be digital, so that is why i choose to go with a digital-out product.. and the DBS one is twice as much... outta my price range... here is the link on it...

They told me back in June or so that when those come out, they will be better than the MP's becuase they will be using better opamps. Take that however you want. They also have a non digital unit coming soon.
