myspace promotion companies?

I'm not talking about adder programs, I'm talking about companies that guarantee they will get you certain ammounts of friends/plays/views for a certain price. such as

It sounds great (but expensive )

but it's a little shady that neither of them say how they do it. In a sense that is understandable since then they would have competition, but still. How can one truly get plays and add requests by paying a co. money? They claim that people will add YOU, not the other way around.

Anyone heard of these?

Well, a bot would give you play and views. It couldn't give you any more friends though.

Why would you want to pay anybody for something like that though? While I'm sure you will get more plays, I don't see that it will get you in the top, umm... what is it hundred, that you see when you go through the genres there.

Seems somehow dishonest or in someway cheating. That might just be me though. Guess I'm a little old fashioned that way.

Yeah... if they published how they go about doing it, you could just go follow their instructions and then not use their service... haha

As for cheating? Hmm... it does seem sneaky - as though you aren't making friends and getting yourself out there due to the quality of the music, but by who you paid off... Hmm - that sounds like every other industry on the planet - connections vs. quality...
