My very first post...

and i would just like to say wats cracking to everyone i hope you guys can help me out cuz im just starting out...


so i ordered my keyboard today, an Evolution Mk-461C i figured it was a good controller to get with the money i have so anyways

the software i have is reason 2.5

and i have a set of turntables technics 1200s with a vestax pmc 07 pro. (do i need to get an A/D converter to plug my tables into my computer?)

and ultimately i wanna combine all three of those things together so any tips, suggestions, pointers, product reviews, etc would be awesome

and if you just wanna diss on me for being a noob thats totally cool too

Well, it looks like you got everything but an audio interface. If you want to record vocals and turntables, I recommend getting a M-Audio sound card. You don't need one that costs a lot of money. 2 inputs and outputs may work. You can get Cubase, Logic, or any audio program you know. You can always upgrade later. Some audio interfaces you buy come with Cubase or some audio software. That can save you money. Otherwise, you got Reason and your keyboard with turntables. Also, get Recycle to chop up your sample to import into Reason...
