That's Miami or Dade county, not Haiti. 
The video intro brings in 4 or 5 characters, all sitting in a row and showing different personalities... cool. But then you do nothing with them. Would be nice to see how they add to the grit of the song instead of just standing around in the video.
There are some framing issues; heads cut off, etc.. Good panning and camera movement. Nice and steady.
Ahh, I just heard Dade County mentioned in the lyrics, so I was right.
The singer (I'm assuming that's you) has different hair style throughout the video. I think you'd want to keep it one way to make it more identifiable (did I spell that right??). I like the dreads better.
And the big problem: The fade to black long before the song ends. even if you were trying to make a statement with the ending, it doesn't come across that way. I doubt you were using it artistically and you just didn't finish out the video.

I travel back n forth. Also this video was not scripted. Ive never done one and im trying to learn to use my camera and the software. Im still reading and learning.

Gotta work on the lip-sync...rap is a lot harder to pull off than typical singing, but nice first effort, good clean/quality video.

Also, the aspect ratio is off. Everything is stretched too wide. I live in Final Cut Pro, so I'm guessing it's your export settings--make sure the size is some multiple of 1920x1080 (I use 960x540 for YouTube a lot, and sometimes even 640x360 for smaller web promos and commercials).

Not bad for a 1st off - I don't have a camera so just use stolen clips.
Muiscally the refrain sounds like music sounds when speakers are out of phase - pressured and coming from each speaker sep. It may not sound like that outside of h/phones though.

I liked it! Just gotta work on matching up the lip-sync...it wasn't too bad but there was one little funky part where it seemed to be pretty off for about 5 secs.

The Lip Sync is actually on point, just youtube keeps throwing it off.... I have to stop and replay for it to sync. I dont know why
But Vimeo Plays it properly, maybe its my codec of choice mp4 something something.
I will try the ratio aspect setting. But I used the widescreen effect which came part of FCE under the matte plugin layer. I would love to have FCPX but my mac mini (06) wont support it. Bummer.
Thanks for the color feedback. I've been reading and youtubing like crazy on color correction but alot of people are cheating (illegaly) with this magic bullet software and while it does look awesome I cant afford that shit.
But I WILL keep trying until I nail it somewhere. I don't want to be perfect because I love margin of errors which is ART. And yes my audio was way too damn loud. I learned to keep it under -6db and you know us music junkies and audio are fighting for 0db but not super smashing the limiter /comp unless its your signature.
THANK YOU GUYS! My Zi8 has finally got some use. Had it almost a year and never did use the darn thing. My motivation was also told no and being charged outrageous prices for others to do things for me. When theirs a budget ill pay for it.

hey..... The song was recorded already n mixed to their liking.... All they did was send me an mp3 and I did my verse mixed to my taste and sent the song back up.... So youll have to speak to their engineering department.
