my studio

I bought it from John Kay of Steppenwolf. He recorded his last solo CD with it and the last 2 Steppenwolf CD's. It is a Peavey PRODUCTIO SERIES 2400 36 in 24 monitor. I works nice for me but its size is at times an issue.I stumbled across it on a web site by a chance. I rented a truck and drove to Mass. 2 years ago this month to meet the band. They brought it up on one of there touring trucks that was empty. I could have gone to John's studio but that would have been a lot longer trip to Nashville. There is a guy in my town that has one just like it he is selling if you are interested. Jim

Where did you go to highschool Jim? I'm origionally from Rochester, and have recently moved my studio to NYC. By the way... I also think you should raise your rates a bit. I know the Rochester scene... there's a lot of bands, Buffalo really close by. I have a couple of buddies who paid $35/hour to record their EP on a SONAR rig in a 1 room garage in Avon. I'm pretty sure you know where Avon is so you get my drift... :D

Anyhow
good luck

Very Nice!

For a project studio like that we in Italy pay about 30 USD/hour!

Jim - Great studio. The MP3s sound great and I agree you should raise your prices a bit.

Naci - Your location (Italy) caught my attention and I welcome you to the BBS! My father was born in Galatro, Reggio Calabria and moved to the US when he was a teenager.
