Hi, I've posted a few times about this before, but now I'm actually starting my studio. I've bricked up the doors i wont use in the air-raid shelter and built half the base for the shed. I've had the shed delivered and should have it up by the end of the week. Ok, my air-raid shelter is 3 bricks thick and we'll be putting a mortar skim on the outside, and gypsum board on the inside with 4" rockwool and acoutic foam, and that will be the drum booth. There is a walkway into another part of the air-raid shelter, in which I will put a door (made of a double layer of 18mm MDF). The other part is extremely small and will act as a corridor and as a vocal booth. I will build a corridor (with concrete block) out from the shelter and attatch the shed to it. The shed is 14' x 8' and sill be split with a partition wall with 4" rockwool on both sides. The outside of the shed will have a mortar skim to seal cracks and add mass. The whole of the inside and outside of the shed will be covered with 4" rockwool (with material covering the inside). I will then build an outer shed (with all cracks/gaps caulked).
None of my design is definite yet, so please advise me on how to make it better and point out my mistakes(if i have any).
Thanks a bunch guys
