My studio...good or bad for first one?

Hello,

I was just wondering what you all would think of having a Korg Electribe EA-1. I've heard that alof of proffesional people use them. I would also have a Roland MC-303, Boss DR202, Numark DM1001X Mixer, two Numark turntables, and a Tascam 414mkII Ministudio. Would that make a decent studio??

Well, that sounds not too bad for a beginners studio. But are you sure about the Tascam? A Fostex FD-4, or another digital device comes in for only a little money more. But than there's the old question: analog or digital?

How about acquiring one piece at a time? Start with the base one to help you do music first. Use it for a while then you will have more clues of what you really need. The beginner setup is different for each person. Only you know the best, what's best for you.
