My Soundcard Sucks

I'm so tired of the distortion I get out of my soundcard. My mixes are not limited/mastered and the card distorts about 1/2 way up. Makes for an unpleasurable listening experience. Sigma Tel card in a Dell 630 laptop.

If I want any kind of quality with volume I have to hook up my USB interface.

No need to rant. EVERY built-in soundcard is a cheap POS with about 40cents worth of parts.
They're made for cheap manufacture and for beeps, boops and light gaming.
That's because 99.95% of all computer users do internet, email and spreadsheets, not creating audio.

Just hook up your interface...
