My solo Nu-metal song with my vox. What do ya think?

I recorded it some time ago. Guitar, bass and vox - by me, drums are programmed in Addictive Drums VST.

I know I'm not a good singer, and text writer but my GF forced me to try it in this song

too much compression. it sounds wavy and phasey in some spots.

The drums sound canned. not sitting in the same space as your guitars. Try and humanize those and maybe make them sound less dry. They are just really dry and i find the dryer canned drums are the easier it is to spot that they are canned.

Your guitars tones are good just too loud.

Voc's are terrible. Could be sitting in there a bit better.

No one cares about the words really. As long as it is catchy. Anyone who says they listen to this style of tunes for the lyrics probably wears a beret and read Edgar Allen Poe for fun.

Try that stuff and we can have another listen.
