So i know about computers, but I don't REALLY know about them.
Right now I run the following programs:
Ntrack (mostly)
Sonic Foundry Acid and CD Architect
Goldwave
WinLame
Internet Explorer
Fruity Loops
AIM
That's mostly it.
BUT - I have a IEEE card that I use on a different computer for editing video. That computer is starting to be too small and slow to handle the video, and THIS computer (my recording one..with my delta 44 on it) has plenty of disk space and memory to share.
CHIPSET: Asus VIA KT333 MB ATA 133 DDR333
CPU TYPE: AMD Athlon XP
CPU SPEED: 2000+
RAM: 512MB PC2700 PC333 DDR
GRAPHICS CARD: Albatron Nvidia TNT-2 M64 32MB
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows XP Home
SERVICE PACKS: SP1
40 gig drive.
Soooo, my question is:
Can I put my IEEE1394 card from my OTHER computer into this one...with Vegas Video 4.0, and STILL have my AUDIO applications run smoothly? Is it worth it? I really woudl like to be able to do both......but I'm just not sure if everything can remain so stable as it is now.
Thanks guys.
