My project keeps speeding up at a certain point

For a ten second interval in my project my project increases in speed and then slowly decreases back to the song's original tempo, much to my frustration. What do you think the problem is? It's affecting my ability to finish the song.

Did you set up a tempo track?

Hit apple+T or command+T (or it might be windows, dunno I'm rusty).


Make sure the line you see is flat.
