My Primative Studio (if you can call it that)

Hi there,

My "studio" is in it's very very early stages at the moment, my rig consists of:

Guitar > Line 6 POD 2.0 > 1/4" Jack output into Computer > Mixcraft 5

I wish to eventually expand my rig to include a Drum Machine, Synthesizer and Bass (In that order).

I realise I need certain interfaces and so I have my eye on the PreSonus AudioBox USB Audio Interface, I also have my eye on the Alesis SR 16 Drum Machine. Am I heading in the right direction? I just want some general advice.
