Now, about the song. I think the drums are good.. bass is pretty good. The thing I'm not liking is that the piano/keys are so far back.. it sounds like they were sitting in while this was recorded.. and they were just jamming along, but weren't supposed to be recorded, but bled into the mics.. if you catch my drift. They're so quiet, I was thinking maybe just bring them up a tad (or was that intentional?).

Loved the sax solo! The sound on that is NICE.

Just work on a couple little things and this already good song would be even better.

The "something" that's going on with it is bad drum-machine. I'm rarely popular for saying this, but to me: there is nothing you can do to improve this song more than get better drums in there.

As a sketch of the song, it's perfect. The idea is there and captured. The next step would be to give the vocal better backing tracks to present the song better.

Hmm.. I do hear that snare cutting out early on.. EX: 0:06, 0:08 and 0:15..
