my PC and direct Pro 24/96

hallo Guys,

Below are my computer specifications. I am planning to purchase Direct Pro 24/96 and hock it up to my machine.

1.Will the performance of Direct Pro 24/96 be affected (lowered) by my machine?

2.Do you think I will have a good DAW by doing this? Or perhaps I need to upgrade my machine fully (new machine) or partially (for example, get a new hard disk)?

Motherboard: Gigabyte PIII ZX Motherboard
CPU: 450 PIII Intel
RAM: 256MB
Hard Disk : 10.2 GB Western Digital Caviar
VGA Card: SiS 6326 3D AGP SVGA card w/8MB
Sound Card: PCI 32bit Sound Card
PC Case: ATX : NT-979-B2, with 235W

You should try to contact them before you buy. If anything, I would increase your ram to at least 512. That's my opinion. I'm sure there are others here with similar specs with fine running machines.
