Great start. The only thing I would realy suggest is to add a synth part as a melody (counter point) to keep it from getting monotonous since there are no vocals.
 
Nice drum sound. I play some guitar stuff similar to this tune but usually shittier. :D Guitar sounds like a plugin.
 
I dug it alot. What mics did you u use on drums, how did you treat them, what was your signal chain like, compression, program, etc.?
 
thanks for the responses, on the drums i used a Sennheiser E609 on the snare and it worked surprisingly well, and on the toms and kick i used audix mics.
This recording was done with traction 2, i have a mackie onyx 1620 with the firewire option.
