My new song "The Blue Horizon": How's the mix?

I also posted this over in the Songwriting forum.

How does the mix sound? At this point, it's still a demo, and there are some obvious boo-boos in it. But I am looking for feedback on the overall sound.

My wife says it's already her favourite song of mine. It's meant to evoke a very lazy feel, being in no hurry, taking your time.

Hope you like it, and I hope it brings imagery to your mind......

Oh man, where do you live, in Florida?
Sounds pretty good mix-wise. I find the instrument arrangement could use some more variety to make it more interesting, maybe vocal harmonies in the chorus, stuff like that. Cool song though.

I think the drums are fine but the bass could come down a bit. Just personal taste though. Nice work!

hey that's good bro, IMO I like the vocals and all the instruments except the snare and weird cymbal noise that hits with the snare, if you could change those that song would be great. Oh yeah and just tad lower on the bass. Good work bro!
