I liked it. Very exciting clear mix in headphones.Sometimes I thought that it would be nice to hear more unison with the bass drum and bass - you know that sound where it's so tight you think it's a tuned drum? But that was just a first impression - probably mistaken too, but what can you do? Liked the vocal too, and the sentiment.Great job.Remington.

cheers =) yeah i do know what ya mean tho, i could have had a little more togetherness with the kick and bass, i just might try that =)

thnks again!:D

I dont like the guitars, they're too loud, the tone is grating, they bury the drums. Everything else sounds good, but I'd back down the guitars and take a little high fizz off them.

cheers for the reply pdp, but in this genre, i thought it was best to have hard driven guitars more centre of the mix to give it the more rock/band feel, cause it could easily be considered more pop which isnt my intention i wanted to keep pop sensibilities but blend it with 60 percent rock! =) i just assumed pumping the guitars like i did would achieve this.

:D

Great Song. Vocals seem too compressed or just to low. Really can't hear drums. If you did the session in ProTools or you can send me the Raw Audio Files, let me fix your mix for you Free. You can email me at mixing @ loudphonic.com.

Awesome track!!! Did you really do this in a home studio? So many things I like about it. I think for the song the guitars a perfect (I'm guitar player, so for me the guitars are never too loud :D) Really good stuff!

Not gonna lie dude, this sounds pretty good. I think I would back off the volume on the guitar just a little, little bit because I feel they overpower the vocals.

I agree on this style of song, the guitars need to be a focal point. Good job overall.

thanks for all the great replies guys =) im kinda new to recording, mixing and mastering. songwriter/musician by trade i guess. i recorded it in cubase 5. haven't said all that it did take me a good three weeks messing around with it all but im generally happy with it all. i now do think the guitars may be a little bit too driven. next time i'll hold back on that and boost the drums a little more =)

thanks!!

Good vocals, very polished sound. Nice work; get this on net radio.
