Wow! Nice to see some people over here still have TASTE for ACTUAL speakers rather than $300 POS active NEARFIELDS...

Nice McIntosh amp and very nice speakers indeed.

I dunno why, but I guess they sound better than Wharfeshits?

My god man, why do you have such a bug up your ass about Wharfedale?

They are the icon of the cheap nearfield monitors.

They own Wharfedales, if I do say so myself...7 inch scan seak carbon fiber/paper woofer, 3/4 inch tweeter...

I over built the cabinets pretty seriously, as well as used much improved crossover ocmponents so they sound a bit better than the original proacs...

Unfortunately they aren't cheap to buy like the wharfedales...about $800 to build, or $4500 to buy back when they were still being made...

Proac Response 2.5's what? There seems to be a word missing from your post.

Yes, I can see that thanks, but you wrote:

"My recently finished Proac Response 2.5's are now..."

Proac Response 2.5's what exactly? I'm confused.

While I apologize for putting an apostrophe where it didn't belong...I meant proacs plural, not proacs is.
