Damned if I do
This L. Benito guitar was part birthday present and part thanks for all my hard work helping my bandmates move to Baltimore. These guitars had a limited production run (I think less than 100 were made) and were completely hand made (no routers used) in Chile from a cache of alerce wood that was discovered in a warehouse. The top is alerce, the sides and back and fingerboard are rosewood, and the neck is cedar. This thing has low end to die for. This is now my sweetest instrument.

Handsome - congrats!!
Looks like for helping your buddies move, they moved you some, too!
.....and now, you can perform moving pieces of music with it, to keep the good vibes moving..... :)

Why is it a drummer

has nicer guitars than I do?

I must not be living right.

Did your karma hit your dogma? :D

BTW, L. Benito used to work for Taylor. Also the guitar has a B-Band pickup in it, but it sounds so sweet on its own that I haven't tried it yet.

I'll trade you a mic for it . . . :o
You are a funny, funny fellow. :D

Has my MSH-4 shipped yet? Can't wait to try it, especially since I actually paid for this one.

P.S. I used one of my MSH-1a's to record a hand drum recently. I'll send you a clip soon.

It will go tomorrow. I just finished 8 of them today, then promptly rejected 4 of them  It might be life with NOS tubes, I haven't made enough to really know :(

Get that B-Band plugged in dude, and get your damn digital box out of the way! Those things are the best sounding systems available for acoustics!

They have like an electret film rather than a piezo. Very cool and not honky.

Lookin good!! :)

Is that alerce wood related to cedar maybe? It kind of has a pattern that might resemble it.
