i just found this website tonight and i can't believe how informative it is. well heres the myspace link to my songs that i recorded in my garage:

myspace.com/burgundyemi

i recorded it using a tascam 2448mkII (i think that's what it's called) the songs are a mix of some solo stuff along with a friend's solo stuff and another friend's band that i was in where i was playing bass. i'm currently in the process of starting my own band where the songs are much moodier. not that i don't like a good pop song. let me know where i can improve. i'm a newb in the recording world, but i want to learn as much as i can.

greyharmonix,
Be gentle! Choose one song - one that your most proud of or is most representative of your work & post a direct link to it.Don't use myspace as the host for songs you want people to critique as the compression etc used there is sonic suicide for quality. Set up an account with soundclick or use lightningmp3 to host your files. You'll get more responses if people have less effort to put in. Soundclick has a reasonable high & low quality streamers that means faster access for listeners as well as a download option if we want to get serious.
Keep the myspace, facebook etc sites as a means of distribution & dissemination of course.
Cheers
rayc
