I am running protool le on a g5 i have a roland spd20 midied into a 2x2 midisport and triton studio midied into my protools rack this works good but i have a tc helicon voice prisim and the magic features require me to midi out from my keyboard but i already have the keyboard going into protools there is a thru on the board and there is a b port of the 2x2 availible. there is a midi out port of the protools rack. what should i do to beable to use the voice prisim's midi features with out disconnections
Of the above three, the only one that has any potentially usable midi data is the out port of the protools rack. Designate a channel in both protools and the TC, assign a sequencer track and you'll be able to automate the TC with midi controllers. I assume this is what you mean by 'the magic features'...
