Hi there,
I bought the MicroKorg XL last fall and I love it. I have been able to record with it, with no problem, in Sequel 2 and Reaper. I usually run MIDI IN/OUT and an instrument cable from the MkXL to my Mbox 2. Sometimes, as with using the MkXL Sound Editor, I'll just use run the USB from the MkXL to the computer. I haven't had any problems.
Now, all of a sudden, I cannot get a sound signal from the MicroKorg XL within either recording program. I only get a brief signal when I tap a key. This happens both through the MBox 2 and with only a direct USB cable from the MkXL to the computer.
When I plug only headphones or monitors into the MkXL, it plays fine on its own. When I try to play through the computer, I get nothing.
This has gone on for a week and so far I have replaced all MIDI cables and the instrument cable and I have installed the most recent USB-MIDI driver. Still, nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
