hmmm... guitars need some of the boominess worked out of them, and depending on what happens after that need to be brought down a bit - then the vocals a bit higher. Yeah i know you said they need work, but stuff that needs work is what gets commented on usually 
...The vox seem a little overwhelmed by the guitars at the moment. I do like the vocal style, anyway, I appreciate a good screamer.
Other than that I am kind of having a hard time hearing the snare... and the kick could use a boost in the 80 hz range, while taking out some of the mids... I have a feeling it would make the beat of the song (which is a little bit non-typical) make more sense. with the snare I can't hear enough to say what might work "eq" wise, but... anyway overall I think if things worked together better in this mix it would be... well better

as far as performance goes, I'd have to listen to the track a bunch more than I have, but it might benefit in spots if the takes were "nailed" moreso. that's a comment I get sometimes, too, but I guess teach what you lack in >_<

Really like the singer, but think the playing needs a lot of tightening performance-wise, lot of timing issues in verse..

i know. we are gonna record it agian soon. One of the guitarists has only just learned the song and they are just starting so yah timing is in issue. we are going to record to a click track next time too to help with that. what would you suggest eqing out to bring down the boominess? of the guitars. part of that is myspace... but there is some on the mp3 too.
