First the first mic channel packed up and now the line ins for my guitar have also stopped working.
Its probebly my fault because I play outside a lot .
Thankfully I still have my mackie DFX 6 which I dusted down and started using.
Although the VLZ has a lot more headroom plus three band shelving eq.
I found I am beggining to like the DFX 6 as it has more eq options ( ie the 5 band eq as well the 2 band shelving.)
I find when I turn the faders right up you get a great clean signal.
Though not as loud as the VLZ I find the sound more sweeter.
Do folks here find that the older mackie's do actually sound better?
Dave
