Well here is my latest attempt at recording something decent. These recordings are of my friends Throat Kick. I think this time I got a decent drum sound, I know its definatley not as good as it could be, but Im still trying.

Any feedback or comments would be welcome. The songs are on my bands soundlcick page, but the songs titles have throatkick in brackets. Any comments or feedback neg or positive is appreciated, thanks!!!!

Wayyy too much of a mono sound on the keyboard. Try doubling the track, panning each full left and right, and inverting the phase on one of them. It might give a nice effect, it might not - but experimentation is necessary for this. The drum sound isn't bad, but again, it is too mono (is this even a stereo recording?) and needs to be louder in the mix.

Yep, sounds like everything is mono, even the guitar.

The snare is "boxy", and vocals (especially the beginning spoken part) needs to be EQ'd and compressed to sit up in the mix.

And everything else the guy above me said.

It would help to know what kind of setup you have: computer, interface, hardware, software, plugins, microphones, etc.

The synth sounds like a Nintendo game. Everything is definately mono sounding. And the speaking vocals sound like they need to be placed better in the mix to not sound like you are just talking on top of the music.
