yep! sk2....Regulator?...that's just a hole for micing purposes, and they are birch.
 
I love the birch Starclassics. I've been drooling over a red-sparkle fade lacquer kit. :)

The Regulator is the perfect mate for the Super Kick. You know how the Super Kick has that felt around the perimeter? The Regulator has a much smaller felt circle, right in the center. These two heads together sound amazing.

Where I work, our standard line is, "If you don't like these heads, come back and I'll buy you lunch." We've never had to buy anybody lunch yet...
