my interfaces are dead. i think it was a murder/suicide. profire 2626??

i had two firepods (fp10s) one died 6 months after i got it, the other a couple days ago. i am unfortunately not able to upgrade to any apogee gear at the moment, and need something reliable and compatible. the best for my situation i have found is the profire 2626. i use logic7 with a 10.3.5 mac. anyone have any problems with the 2626? or any recommendations??

I had the Fast Track Ultra 8R but sent it back in favour of the Focusrite saffire pro 40 and a TI card. Great piece of kit for the money. Only downfall is that there is no inserts but you can use one of the channels, not a big deal for me atm as I rarely use over 4 channels at a time
 
i need 8 channels tho... (should of posted that previously)
