Hi there,

The console is an AMEK "BIG". SuperTrue automation, virtual dynamics, great board.

You can see my full equipment list on my website that you went to for the pix- www.weightlessaudio.com

Thanks!

hey nice studio.
quick question.. how do those krk's sound? i need me a pair of smaller monitors i wanna mix mainly vox on and track with... i usually track and mix everything through 20/20's and at times when tracking they can have to much bottom and it forces me to track kinda quiet... and when mixing sometimes vox sound a little muddy but with my headphones or in my car they sound fine...
i plan on upgrading the 20/20's this summer, but i figured i'd try the new passive krk's like yours or get a pair of tannoy revels..

Man, I wish my "Humble" studio had an Otari 16-track in the background and a 24 mixer. Nice looking place man.

Hey C9-2001,

The KRK's are the ST8 with 8" woofer. Decent low end on these with good lower mids. If you want something with less low end, check out the KRK ST6 with 6" woofers. I haven't heard them but there are on line shops that will let you buy and have 45 day return gaurantee if you don't like 'em.

Your other consideration is a power amp. "Hi-Fi" receivers don't cut it. You'll need to invest a few hundred $$ for something decent.

I'm also using a pair of the FOSTEX PM-1 powered monitors as another reference. These are REALLY oustanding for vox, acoustic guitars, the "twinkly" stuff.
