My homemade china crash!

This is an old Sabian B8 Pro 18" medium crash. I played on this for years, and broke it several times and then welded it several times. I retired this last year, and today decided to beat it into somethng more useful lol. A ball peen hammer, ablock of wood and 30 minutes of my times laterI had a kick ass china cymbal, I mean really, it sounds good. I'll get a sound check vid up soon, but here are some pics.

Ive heard worse I suppose.

I must be getting old because I really dont care for china's much anymore.
 
Yeah I hear ya on not liking chinas to much, but when you play metal a china is nice, although I have not used one in years lol. I may start again, but that means another stand or arm attachment; more stuff to lug around.
