My guild has a buzz on?

My Guild acoustic is buzzing. What do I do and look for to discover
the cause? Mostly the g b and high e string below th 7th fret.I assume the strings are hitting a fret? Can I fix this myself short of a fret job?:D
 
Try dressing the frets with steel wool before resorting to a fret job.This will polish up any nicks and imperfections.Mask off the neck and just add a little elbow grease.
I'm assuming your truss rod is properly adjusted.Sight down the big E string and look for any upbowing in the region where the buzz is happening.
