Stop it, I can't breathe
Also known as one of my lyricists...

This is his first experience with recording on a computer. I think it's amazing how he didn't fell into the usual pitfalls of modern (PC) recording techniques (too much effects, too much smileyfaced equalizers, too much maximizers, compressors pumping way too hard, we all know the deal)

Listen to the first track (titled Disclaimer, a thing we're very used to on this board :) ) and especially to that beautiful warm guitarsound.

I'm curious what you think of it, especially the mix....

Yep, I know...he uses an autotuner :)

I couldn't understand a word he said ! :) (just kidding)

The only thing that stuck out, is what sounded like a "guitarish" sound panned hard left. It was truly annoying with headphones.

Everything else sounded good to me !! Nice harmonies...

Others can probably offer some more intelligent advice. :D

What's the crackling sound? That needs to go. Sounds like the acoustic guitar needs to be eq'ed. The electric riff guitar is panned too hard left and misses in a few places. The vox aren't bad, especially the harmonies. The rhythm electric needs eq too. The bass is pretty good.

I don't like that riff in there. It gets old when it's going the whole time. I'd consider either bringing it in and out or changing it periodically, and bringing the volume down on that a bit too.

Better than my first computer recordings though.
