im having trouble recording and playing back sounds on channel 2 when i output the same volume to input channel 1 the vu meter spikes but on the second is way lower?
what could be the remedy? should i demagnitize it? maybe spray some deoxit d5 on the rca connectors and clean the tape heads?
or should i open the reel from the bottom and see if anything needs some contact cleaning?
