The song has pretty hyper high end...not quite deadly though.
The mix is out of my realm to critique on my Roland MA-8s and headphones.

Solid song, not exactly compelling but not as bad as many.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try lowering the high end eq on the drums as well as maybe the vocals.

Good song, it grabbed me and kept me listening:

-The rhythm guitar SOUNDS like it was recorded direct with a POD. As a result, it sounds too distant and washed out to be really effective. I'd try miking up a cabinet, record the sound dry and add effects after the fact.

-The distorted guitar sounds very good.

-The lead vocals are good, but there's too much reverb for my taste. I'd dry it out and bring it up in the mix some.

-The chorus is just begging for some vocal harmonies. It's a good chorus, it just needs that oomph that announces 'this is the f**king chorus!'. Harmonies and/or doubling is a must.

-Nice job with the drum loops, adding fills and contrasting chorus parts make it sound more realistic.

Overall, it's a really nice effort.
