Hey d_squad54, I see you're from MO, I travel down to KC MO every so often for work - nice state you have there.....

You're mix is cool, I like the beat you have going in this. Relaxing and smooth.

Could use a tiny bit more of the second backup guitar I think....just a thought...

What is that slide - type/vibrato guitar sound you got going - really cool and unique...

That's cool man. At first I was thinking, "Oh boy.......newb". Once the beat came in it started coming together. It's like a mix of cajun/blues guitar and hip-hop beats. I'm bobbing my head as I'm typing this. That's cool stuff man. I think the tune could benefit from a powerful, deep, but controlled kick drum or bass sample...."pphhhhoooooooooommmm ch ch cha ch ch ch ch ch ch cha" kinda thing. Cool. ;)

lol its catchy I started to sing over it. Keep at it, is that a real bass drum or a synth bass boom?

Reminds me of somethig Beck would do. I like the beat quite a bit, but the guitars seems kinda thin, and some vocals over top would be awesome.

thanks guys, like i said i realize it isnt much but we all have to start some where. If any of you ever want to lay some vocals over it just give me a shout. ill keep you updated, peace.

I just use FL 6, and Cubase and my microphones of course for the guitar.

For that beat I used a slide. I know im not to technical but I just like makin music. I feel a lot can be done with a guitar. I am workin on getting a bass because I know I need it.

As for the one who mentioned Beck you read my mind dude. I was thinkin of Guero or whatever that album is and I think the song is scarecrow. Im not sure but that dude is the shit. If anyone wants to get any callaboration going hit me up. Take it easy bros.
