my first 4 songs

hey everyone, my name's Josh Dakota. i'm 19 and i've been playing guitar since i was 3, i just recorded my first 4 songs and i'm lookinf for feedback.

i've got them all up on my website at http://www.myspace.com/joshdakota,
any feedback or comments would be welcome. they're a mix of acoustic and electric guitar, and vocals, recorded first on 4-track and then put into my computer, where i will probably eventually do some tweaking to them or mastering. the first song, "The Orchard", won the school talent show last year so i hope you dig it! thanks dudes!

The Orchard was something I wasn't expecting from someone whose genre description on myspace is acoustic/indie/emo. You're very talented, hope to hear more from you.

On a technical aspect, you could try raising the volume of some of the quieter parts of the songs (like the entirety of Dreams of the Dreamed). The overall recording quality seems to be pretty good though.

thanks for the tip on the volume! i guess that's what the whole "mastering" thing is about. hopefully i'll get the hang of it eventually.
