My Echo Layla just died!!

It no worky wtf happened?

I tried to turn it on, it powered up... for about a second then the little green light faded out and i heard a "pop" in the monitor...

thats all it will do when i try to turn it on?

The Fuse aint blow and its not the power socket... wtf?

Wow. Your description is kind of vague, so it could possibly be a ton of different things. I would start checking evertyhing to eliminate all of the possibilities. I like to start with the hardware (checking cables, plugs, etc.) If everything is plugged in and seated correctly, I would try to switch PCI slots. If it still doesn't work try the card in a different PC.

It doesnt get its power from the PCI slot, it has a cable similar to the one in the back of the computer...

i've tried switching pci slots anyway, ive tried the cable in the back of the computer. ive tried a different power socket, ive tried a different computer...

im gunna try throwing it from the 2 story window, then dragging it behind my car down the street... if that dont work, Its time for the sledgehammer.
