My cool edit pro presets have mysteriously disappeared..

I don't know why but I opened up cool edit and found that all my saved presets were missing out of the blue as well as many other presets that were there since I had the program. I have no clue why, but does anyone know how to fix this and/or how it happen?

Looks like "cool.ini" has been corrupted. If you have a backup of that, you're ok, otherwise.....

Well what do I do with cool.ini ?

If you've got a backup of cool.ini, then dump the corrupted one and replace it with the backup. Then all your presets will reappear. If you don't have a backup, then it seems likely that you cool.ini file is corrupted and you've lost your presets. Which is crappy. But the lesson to be learned is...?
