My XP computer is getting slower and slower, so I hit the ctrl-alt-del buttons to get that pop up screen that tells all thats running so to shut some of those things down to free up RAM, so I can get less drop out when recording in Sonar, but the screen doesn't pop up.
Anyone know another way to get into that to shut some programs down so I can get more RAM to work with when recording???

Sounds like a virus, have you been surfing porn on your recording computer? Get a firewall. Make sure your "start up" folder is empty.
Also, search and load "ADAWARE". Run it to kill the nasty spyware. I've had to reformat because of crap like this. Ideally get another machine for the web, you don't need much. An old 450mhz with 128 RAM would be fine, like $200 used.

Hey Thanx Jakoa

I took your advice, but I went to symantec and ran their live scan and had a 32-wklez virus and fixed it, but I also went out and got some more RAM, from 256 to 512 RAM and now stuff is running good. i probably can run more tracks at once as well, but haven't tested it, but things defintely smoother.............thanx
