My CD-RW700 recently displayed a "sysem error" message. It did this w/ a cd in it. I've called Tascam who of course referred me to a couple local repair shops who in turn told me they won't give me any support over the phone but will gladly take a look at it. Well, at $40.00 to look at it and $65.00 per hour + parts to fix I figure I should see if anyone else has a similar story and what they did. I'm pretty handy and can fix most things if I have a plan. Having never opened one of these puppies up I'm not sure what kind of land mines to watch for. Can anyone help??? Thanks Pete
