I installed my new M audio delta 66 card and rebooted. When I launched ProAudio 9, and checked the track properties, my cards were there (soundblaster audigy platinum and the delta 66), I changed to the delta 66 in the options/audio preferences and closed and restarted proaudio 9 as per instructions. Whoa, only midi appears as an option in the track properties source choices. Niether audio card is anywhere to be found ?? help

Thanx

You could try deleting your aud.ini file. It will recreate the next time you start Sonar (but you will have to reset you data directories, picture directories, etc.). This will force Sonar to reprofile and reset the sound cards.

Generally when people have two cards, they have a problem with Sonar seeing one of them. This is mostly the result of using WDM drivers for one, and MME drivers for the other. Never saw a problem with recognizing both cards.

BTW, are you sure you didn't diasable the drivers for the cards when you were changing the Delta 66? Options -> Audio -> Drivers. I imagine that would cause this problem.

Thanx, no, the drivers are not disabled, i'll try the delete the aud.ini file, thanx again

turned out it was the CW9AudDX.ini file I had to delete to do the new search for hardware. That worked :)
