My Boss Chromatic Tuner TU-2 Is Freaking Out...

Ok, this is driving me nuts...i'm not sure if i did something wrong or what, but my Boss Chromatic Tuner TU-2 goes all wacky when i plug it in. the little lights that indicate how sharp or flat you are start flashing in line like a casino billboard. it seems to sort of let me tune over it using the arrow on either side, but it acts like it's having a crack fit. does anyone know if i pressed something wrong or if this things just busted?

I think it has a strobe tuner mode, it sounds like that's where you are at. Unplug it and take out the battery, maybe it'll reset.

There is a selector button on it and one of the options is strobe. You must select a different option
