I'm new to recording but I've manage to turn my bedroom into a make-shift recording studio. Below are some pictures:

There are more pictures and some recordings HERE.

bet you get some serious vibe from that cowbell too!...post a a clip of it...dispite what others may thing, not all cowbells are created equal.

nice rugs/vibe as punkin said
looks pretty cool

just a question, doesnt the rugs suck all the highs??
do you have problems recording drums in a corner??

I can't say I'm the most knowledgeable when it comes to recording. I was hoping the rugs might act to prevent reverb. I faced the drums into the coner to save space. Should I face them out? Thanks.

Hey there, is that a Sansui amp to the right of your computer monitor?

It's just a little Mitsubishi, though it does pump some good sound out of my Cerwin Vegas.

The rugs will knock down the high frequencies, but they won't do much for lows. I worry about the kick in particular, it could be greatly exaggerated stuck in a corner like that.

If you turn them into the room, your overheads will also be further from the corner, which is probably a good thing.
