Hey everyone, I've been on here like a fly on the wall everyday making few posts but reading a whole lot. Love the site and I think it's really great. Please download my bands EP which I did 100% by myself and tell me what you think!

What style of music is it?

Not to sound offencsive but if its a genre i dont like i dont think i'd take a look.
 
pop punk, Guy and Girl singer going back and forth. Basically music to jump around too and have fun at live shows.
 
Ok. I'm still interested i can deal with pop punk.

I'll have to give it a listen later when i'm home. Unfortunately a little thing called work gets in the way.
 
sounds awfully like the starting line, if thats the sound you are looking for. The compression is killing my ears!!!:D
Another thing I dont understand is why the hell are you making 4 track eps. A big waste of time. Just make a full album and quit the demo crap.
And all the vocals are too quite.
 
I'm not sure how you could ever really compare this to the starting line. A band that honestly we sound nothing like....A pop punk band sounds like any other pop punk band obviously but the starting line is a band that we've NEVER been compared too. People say we sound way to much like Four Year Strong or The Wonder Years. Obviously, they (the starting line) are professionally produced and mixed band so it's going to be better than some band not even on a label that goes without saying. For making this in my tiny room at home and a totally INB mix I think we did pretty okay. Know your genres better before you decide to criticize someones hard work.
 
you asked to be, and you sound just like the starting line wether you like it or not.
And like i said before if you can do that in you bedroom dont waste time making an ep make a full album.
 
You have some good songs going on there. I have no clue who the starting line is but yes you have that kind of vibe to your music. Maybe more like Paramore to me. The mixes have a lot to be desired. Vocals are way too low. Too much compression. Sound all squeezed together. Keep trying. I think you have a lot of good stuff to work with. Good luck.
