Just got done recording a demo for my band. The gang vocals are weak because we had like 5 people, and I just used an A/B stereo technique with my R0DE NT5's. Anyway, take a listen, give me feedback. =) Thanks guys!

aye you're on the right track there

good guitar sounds

the gang vox aren't to bad

the kit sounds good

I feel you could either EQ more of a picky sound into the bass to make it cut through a bit more, OR just turn it up

otherwise keep it up......................did I detect some timing issues?????

BTW it's not my cup of tea but I've had A LOT of similar stuff in my studio & I feel you could crank the bass a bit

peace out

Thanks dude. =) I'll up the bass a bit, and try to put a more brassy feel in it. We might have had a few timing issues, but it's nothing crazy serious so it's not too big of a deal to us. I appreciate the feedback though man, thanks a lot.

You should post this in the clinic. You'll get more critiques there. This is a discussion forum.

I hear the timing issues too. The drums are positioned like you are the drummer. You may want to reverse that and not pan the toms so wide. They do sound good though, nice snap in the snare, and they're not boomy. Where's the bass? Guitars have a good sound. Overall not too bad for a live sound.

To me that's kind of subjective. I personally really enjoy feeling the toms roll the way they would if you were the drummer. =) And ya, the bass is something I know I need to fix, I think I might re-record them with a different approach. Thanks for the input though dude I appreciate it. =)

I hear ya, but how many of the peeps you are mixing this for are drummers? Most people are out in front and hear the drums the other way unless they have they're back to the band.

Haha just a preference man. I know that before I got into recording I really enjoyed hearing it from left to right, like you were behind the set. Not because a lot of people aren't drummers, but because it makes you feel like you are. I understand where you're coming from though.
