Hello all
I know I am dealing with apples here as opposed to apples and oranges.
The reason I am asking is because there is about $100 difference between the two mics. In the long term, often small differences can intensify with consistent usage, whether they are good or bad.
It seems the frequency curve is somewhat flatter without the 10k peak with the XM as opposed to the ME. This might have something to do with the additional transformer in the signal path.
So, my questions: Which one modded will improve the most, and do you think the XM is worth the additional money?
