mxl 993 vs. mxl 603s

i was wondering what the prefered model is and why. I'm looking for something that would be good for drum OH's, acoustic guitar, piano, and some cello. The 603s's I know are highly recomended here, but are a little more expensive and a little harder to find than the 993. Any feedback is apreciated.
