They are selling this mic on musiciansfriend for 50 bux with the shockmount and case and everything is this a good mic for recording vocals and acoustic guitar ?

You cannot beat this deal. This mic will work on everything, but to go as far as to say 'a good mic', I dont know...It will definately work as as first condensor though.

Great mic for the $$ for a home studio. I wouldn't record the next Mariah Carey Album with it but I am definitely impressed with the sound reproduction quality. Can't beat the price either. Use a pop filter to protect it from spit...

Not of sound mind
For $50, it beats the heck out of all the Samson and Nady stuff under $100. Some find it a bit bright/harsh on vocals, but I've gotten decent results with mine.

It's worth about $50. I think if that's what you want to spend you're basically getting your money's worth.
